Description
Basic Purpose and Objectives
Partners with Laboratory Director, Finance, Procurement, Facilities, and Business Development to ensure the success of Vaccines and Biologics by ensuring financial targets are met, developing strategic plans for new services, new markets, and new capabilities as well as for efficiency and capacity expansion as volume demand increases.
Ensures new and ongoing Vaccines and Biologics assay development, testing and storage projects are coordinated and resourced, and works with the Laboratory Director to ensure the overall performance of the business meets agreed upon financial and operational targets. May be involved in developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key customers.
Analyzes and develops plans for technology/instrumentation, people, and space resources across the Vaccines and Biologics business. Interacts with other Laboratories across PPD and with Phase II-IV business as needed on collaborative projects and initiatives. Liaises with customers. Oversees Project Management. Oversees responses to quality concerns made by customers.
Qualifications
Hiring Requirements
MS/MBA + 5 years, or BS/BA + 10 years of relevant experience. At least 5 years of business analysis and/or project management experience. Must have 3-5 years of pharmaceutical or CRO experience.
