----Role:
Job Summary:
• Full project management responsibility (with minimal management support) for clinical studies according to company (and/or Sponsor) SOPs, ICH-GCP and local regulations. Studies managed will usually be either “complex” or “non-complex” studies, with any number of participating countries or centres.
• May act as overall manager of a global or complex study leading other PMs or Senior PMs as required.
• May act as a Project Manager (PM) for a proportion of a clinical study (assigned territories or designated PM tasks) under the direction of another Project Director.
• Ensures clinical trials are conducted such that subjects’ rights, safety and well being are protected and that the clinical trial data are reliable.
• High level of involvement in departmental process improvement initiatives, including SOP & WPG review and writing.
• High level of involvement in business development activities, including bid defence meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

----Qualifications:
Education/Qualifications required: Graduate, postgraduate, 3-year college degree, or equivalent experience ideally in a scientific or healthcare discipline.
Experience: Ideally 8 years or more in clinical operations, data management or related discipline either
in CRO or pharmaceutical industry, preferably within clinical research, of which 4 years or more is as a Project Manager (PM) within clinical research.

Travel Required: Ability to drive and availability for domestic and international travel including overnight stays.
