Our client is currently recruiting for a Clinical Research Nurse to be part of a research team that will assist with clinical trials in a CRO environment.

Background
Due to expansion our client is looking for a Clinical Research Nurse to join their existing research team and be based in the North West (Manchester).
Key Responsibilities and Duties
As part of the clinical research team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect care for research studies undertaken in the Clinical Research Unit.
The post holder will participate in the effective running of research studies on a day-to-day basis maintaining the safety and well being of study participants and utilising skill knowledge and judgment to provide a high standard of care whilst maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
The post holder has responsibility and accountability for planning, organising, and prioritising their daily workload working collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks including the following activities:
• Ensure volunteer safety and well being in a variety of settings working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Identify and report any potential or actual adverse events to a senior nurse and Physician in a timely manner.• Perform all types of drug administration for which they have been competency assessed in accordance with the study protocol and within the NMC Guidelines for the administration of Medicines.• To be competent in performing and supervising other members of the multidisciplinary team in core clinical skill, utilising clinical knowledge to identify potential clinical abnormalities and recognising and reporting any deviation from the parameters as stated in the study protocol. • Collect accurate high quality data in accordance with Good Clinical Practice and resolve queries in a timely manner so as not to delay time to study completion.
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
The ideal candidate should be able demonstrate an understanding of the following qualities:
• Degree qualified in general/adult nursing or equivalent• Proven post registration experience• Proven organisational skills• Proven communication and interpersonal skills• Must be skilled in using basic computer packages
