Our firmly established client has an excellent UK based opportunity where they require a SAS Programmer with proven experience to join there expanding Data Management department.

Background
Due to expansion our client is looking for a SAS Programmer to be based in the North West of England. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing SAS programming activities according to our Standard Operating Procedures and sponsor requirements.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Our SAS Programmer's will be based in the Data management department.
• Responsible for performing SAS programming activities according to business SOPs and sponsor requirements.• Responsible for generation of documentation and SAS code required for database set-up, computerisation of data and production of report tables and listings.• Responsible for preparation of clinical pathology data and production of summary tables and listings.• Liaison with Data Management staff to ensure the database allows entry and validation to be performed in a timely manner whilst maintaining a high quality database.• Carrying out quality control checks to ensure compliance with business and Sponsor requirements.
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
Graduate - Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or another relevant subject
• Proven experience as a SAS programming within Clinical Research or Pharmaceutical background
; Excellent communication skills, both Oral and Written
