An excellent clinical role to work at a senior level as a Clinical Research Manager CRM has arisen with a pharmaceutical company based in Berkshire. In this role you will be responsible for directing and managing the clinical trials in UK, with additional responsibility to co-ordinate, support, manage and train the Project Managers to ensure a successful completion of these clinical trials.
Supervise the activities of Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, Project Secretaries and other external collaborators (delocalised/CRO staff etc) in all tasks and activities related to these Clinical Trials.
Be the primary contact of opinion leaders and potential investigators, CROs, relevant Therapeutic Divisions, other departments for all matters related to these clinical trials in the UK.
Assess study feasibility within the proposed settings and identification and recruitment of suitable opinion leaders and/or investigators.
Meet with investigators for discussion of study projects, protocols, results, publications and congresses.
Meet with all relevant departments within the Company to discuss pertinent matters relating to the development of Servier compounds in the UK.
Meet with all relevant departments within the Company to discuss matters relating to the organisation of the UK therapy unit.
Recruit new employees in collaboration with the Director of Personnel and Services for Project Manager and secretarial vacancies
Write reports on the organisation and the activity of the UK therapy unit.
Actively support the good reputation of all products (in development and on the market) in collaboration with external opinion leaders.
When requested by the Director of the therapy area in his/ her absence, assume responsibility for the general running of the Department as a whole.
Provide the Director with appropriate advice in technical fields in which the Clinical Research Manager has specific background and expertise.
Undertake any specific projects if and when requested by the Director.
Qualifications
Education : PhD, MD or equivalent.
Experience : at least 2 year's experience in drug development.
Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice, clinical trial methodology, terminology and procedures.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to disseminate information.
Fluency, both spoken and written, in the French Language.
