Senior Clinical Research Associate

Our client currently is a world leader in the field of biotechnology, developing products with the highest standards of quality, safety and efficacy for the benefit of their patients. Currently they are looking for a Senior Clinical Research Associate to work in their offices in the South East. The role presents an excellent opportunity to work in an environment in which individuals add value, with access to comprehensive training, in a company culture where leadership qualities are supported and nurtured.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

*Assisting with the identification and selection of investigators to run clinical trials in compliance with ICH GCP.

*Assisting with trial set-up; collecting and ensuring that essential documents required for trial initiation are of high quality.

*Assisting with trial initiations, ensuring all trial staff are fully trained in all aspects of the protocol, investigational product and ICH GCP.

*Monitoring allocated trial centres, ensuring that all aspects of the work undertaken by the Investigators and Research Staff are conducted, recorded and reported in accordance with the protocol, ICH GCP, appropriate company SOPs and current regulations.

*Performing closure visits at the end of the trial, ensuring that all documentation is archived in accordance with SOPs and ICH GCP.

*Throughout the trial, maintaining excellent working relationships with research staff and internal personnel.

*Throughout the trial, track and report the progress as well as maintain a good working knowledge of the changing regulatory environment and company SOPs.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

*3 years mimmum experience in the UK in a CRA type role.

*Educated to degree level (BSc or other appropriate degree) or able to demonstrate other relevant experience (e.g nursing)

*Must be a team player with motivation and enthusiasm to join the existing team dedicated to ensuring the clinical research is run successfully and to high standards

*Must be enthusiastic and motivated to drive forward studies

*Therapeutic experience in Neurology desired.
