CLINICAL DEVELOPMENT ADVISOR - SURREY
Are you looking to diversify with your clinical career and interested in an advisory/clinical role? This position is an excellent opportunity to join a blue-chip pharmaceutical company with a very strong pipeline as Clinical Development Advisor.
Our client is currently searching for a dynamic individual to join their team in order to support of an expanding portfolio of products therapies. This role will a contract, (12 months maternity cover) role, and will be on a part-time basis. In this role you will be responsible for providing medical support to key brands which make significant difference to patients with rare diseases.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
To provide:
*Scientific and technical support for the development of promotional materials, in compliance with ABPI Code of Practice
*Support and training on brand and therapy areas within the Businesses Unit (Oncology)
*Local Third Party (Phase IIIb-IV) clinical trials support for the Oncology Marketed Products Portfolio
*Liaison with key UK customers, providing a strong link between clinical development to market arena
*Production of data summaries/ briefings of key publications and trial information to the Oncology Business Unit
*Input into operational and strategic plans
*Input into Health Technology Assessment submissions
*Support Medical Information enquiry handling
*Handling Compassionate Use requests
*Participation in national congresses
KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have :
*Phase IV Medical Affairs/Commercial experience.
*A background in Clinical Research with sound knowledge of Good Clinical Research Practice (GCP).
*The ability to understand, process and communicate scientific information to a high standard
*The highest ethical standards, with a working knowledge of relevant clinical regulations and ABPI Code of Practice.
Desirable Attributes:
*Energy and enthusiasm with significant commercial knowledge
*Excellent influencing and networking skills
*Excellent communication skills
*Medical Affairs / Commercial Experience ideally within Oncology, Haematology or Specialist medicine
