An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Based CRA to join this global leading company. As a field based Clinical Research Associate you will have a wide variety of responsibilities and the chance to progress in a forward thinking and extremely well established corporation
Role:
Assist with the identification and selection of investigators to run phase I-III clinical trials in compliance with ICH GCP.
Assist with trial set-up; collecting and ensuring that essential documents required for trial initiation are of high quality.
Assist with trial initiations, ensuring all trial staff are fully trained in all aspects of the protocol, Investigational product and ICH GCP.
Monitor allocated trial centres, ensuring that all aspects of the work undertaken by the Investigators and Research Staff are conducted, recorded and reported in accordance with the protocol, ICH GCP, appropriate company SOPs and current regulations.
Perform closure visits at the end of the trial, ensuring that all documentation is archived in accordance with SOPs and ICH GCP.
Throughout the trial, maintain excellent working relationships with research staff and internal personnel.
Throughout the trial, track and report the progress, monitor all financial aspects and maintain a good working knowledge of the changing regulatory environment and company SOPs.
Direct monitoring of sites expected to be approximately 3-4 days per week.
Experience Required:
Should have extensive monitoring experience in the UK and or Republic of Ireland (more experience would be required for appointment at the Senior level);
Educated to degree level (BSc or other appropriate degree) or able to demonstrate other relevant experience (e.g nursing);
Experience in monitoring Phase II-III trials, phase I experience would also be advantageous but not essential;
Therapeutic experience sought in any of the following fields: Oncology, Cardiovascular,
CNS, and Diabetes;
Must be a team player with motivation and enthusiasm to join the existing team dedicated to ensuring the UK clinical research is run successfully and to high standards;
Must be enthusiastic and motivated to drive forward studies in set-up to avoid undue delays.
