Our Client, a very successful company within Dermatology is looking to recruit an experienced Clinical Research Associate in the South of the UK to monitor an exciting and complex study.
The position is for a 12 month contract through Clinical Professionals.
Job Content
Investigator Site Management:
i) Act as a main line of communication between company and the investigator.
ii) Inform all site personnel of the protocol and its requirements.
iii) Act as a liaison with other departments and committees e.g. local laboratories, pharmacy, LREC/MREC/R&D to ensure the efficient running of the study.
iv) Conduct regular and informed monitoring visits ensuring accurate reporting on the progress of the study between company and the investigator.
v) Facilitate the reporting of Serious Adverse Events.
ICH GCP and company SOP’S:
i) Ensure that all documents, CRF’s and study medication relating to the study set up, monitoring, and close down, are processed in accordance with ICH GCP and company SOP’s.
ii) Verify source data in CRF’s and ensure that trial records are complete, accurate and maintained.
iii) Assist Project Manager in project related tasks as necessary.
Data Quality:
i) Ensure high quality and accurate data by checking accuracy and completeness of the CRF entries against source documents and other trial records.
ii) Ensure regular and timely collection of complete data for data entry.
iii) Ensure regular and timely resolution of data queries.
Financial:
i) Agree and maintain records of all financial agreements with all parties at the investigational site.
ii) Ensure payments are made in accordance with the financial agreement.
Relationship Management:
i) Assess viability and suitability of potential investigators.
ii) Maintain the relationship with existing investigators especially with regard to motivation and recruitment.
