Job Summary
Do you work within Drug Safety/Pharmacovigilance and want to work for one of the World's leading Pharmaceutical organisations? If you want to report directly to the Head of Drug Safety, and be responsible for drug safety/pharmacovigilance activities for the pharmaceutical division of the organisation, then Flame Pharma would like to hear from you.

Job Title
Drug Surveillance Officer

Background
The Drug Safety Officer is responsible for the receipt, data entry and administration of therapeutic area specific adverse event reports, clinically relevant drug interactions, pregnancy monitoring and literature reports relating to marketed drugs and those under development. You will also maintain a database that facilitates effective communication of adverse event data to Regulatory Authorities, Global Drug Safety and to members of Pharmaceutical division.

Key Responsibilities
• Records, enters, codes and updates Adverse Event Reports.• Process of Reporting Officer (RO) Report.• Contacts reporter (or reporting site) for clarification and follow up.• Reconciles Adverse Event Data with internal or external partners as appropriate.• Report Production.• Administration of Global AE Database (ClinTrace).• Active part of the training process on Adverse Event reporting to other groups.• Maintain Current Awareness.
Qualifications and Experience
• Previous experience across a range of Pharmacovigilance activities.• Good communicative, administrative and organisational skills.• Computing skills.• Knowledgeable of drug safety regulations, terminology and procedures.
