Job Summary
We are currently working with one of the worlds largest Clinical Research Organisations to recruit a Pharmacovigilance Manager to be based in Europe. The purpose of this role will be management of pharmacovigilance projects, line management Drug Safety Associates, and responsibility for resourcing.

Background
Due to expansion, our client (one of the World's leading clinical research organisations) is working with Flame Pharma to recruit a Pharmacovigilance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of pharmacovigilance projects.
- Participate or lead subgroups in the development of project specific procedures on safety reporting.
- Monitor project budgets, contractual agreements and utilisation of staff.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to national regulations and company SOPs.
- Contribute to and/or lead the staff training activities of the department.
- Oversee preparation and follow-up activities for international or external audits and inspections.
- Participate in performance management of staff.
- Participate in business development activities.
- Coordinate department interface issues, e.g. with data management, clinical operations, etc.
- Support implementation and use of new technology tools in the department.
Qualifications and Experience
- Health or life sciences background with extensive relevant pharmacovigilance/drug safety experience.
- Line management experience.
- Project management experience will be an asset.
- Safety database knowledge desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; be a team player.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
