Our client, a leading clinical pharmacology CRO that specialises in the strategy, management and execution of product development and early phase clinical development, is internationally recognised as a centre of excellence for the design, execution and analysis of more complex, early phase studies. They are offering this outstanding opportunity for a qualified physician to provide vital medical support for clinical pharmacology studies, based at their office in Manchester.
JOB ROLE - The Clinical Research Physician will be primarily responsible for:
•Recruiting and screening healthy volunteers and patients for clinical trials.
•Providing medical support for the conduct of studies.
•The safety and welfare of volunteers and patients during studies.
•Providing medical input into study protocols, interim reports, safety reports and final study reports.
•Assisting project management with the leadership of studies.
•Liaising with Sponsor companies from a medical perspective.
•Developing and maintaining a high level of skill in designing, conducting, and interpreting clinical pharmacology studies
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
•Medical degree and broad based post graduate experience.
•GMC Registered Physician.
•Clinical Research experience preferred.
PERSONAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
•The ability to review and evaluate clinical data.
•Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
