Our client is seeking a SAS Database Manager, who has strong SAS programming skills for a 4 month project in a team oriented project.
Duties include creation and maintenance of databases, researching secondary datasets, downloading and importing data, screening and cleaning data, crating new variables and data dictionaries, applying formats, and merging data with other primary and secondary datasets. Require the writing of complex SAS data-step programs to manipulate data, create analysis datasets and produce descriptive statistics.
Requirements include a Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field, plus 24 months of programming experience. Experience with SAS, Oracle, SQL, VB applications and management are needed. Prior experience working in the clincial or healthcare industries is a major plus.
Applicants need to be based in the Triangle region of North Carolina for this short term project.
