CONTRACT: DataStage Specialist - Training & Development - Pharmaceuticals / Clinical Trials
UK Based / South East UK
£ Excellent Rate / hour - Dependant on Experience
Summary:
Working for a major client who have recently implemented DataStage for use in clinical trails, specifically within clinical data management. In close co-operation with the US offices, you will train staff of various levels in day to day tasks and further develop the system to their requirements.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Mentoring the UK DM team in DataStage
Development in DataStage, as needed for our project.
Coordinating with our Corporate DataStage advisor regarding standard development practices.
Experience / Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in programming or equivalent combination of education and experience
2 - 5 years relevant professional programming experience
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills this is absolutely required, as they will be mentoring my team and will be working with US developers
Competency in relevant technologies: Windows operating systems, Unix, IBM DataStage, relational and/or hierarchical database (e.g. Oracle, Caché)
Experience in programming DataStage for Clinical Trials, Pharmaceutical and/or medical industry-related data is preferred.
