Are you a Project Manager based in or around Berkshire? This medium sized Pharmaceutical company are looking for a Project Manager to manage their clinical trials to ensure that all trials are successfully implemented and completed in accordance with the scientific and regulatory requirements, within the agreed time frame and budget and to high quality.
Specific responsibilities include:
• To ensure that assigned projects are managed in an effective, reliable, timely, and competent fashion
* To effectively manage CROs and other external providers to ensure their optimal on - time and within budget performance and high quality of all deliverables
*To Provide Leadership to assist the PM to fulfil their responsibilities in accordance with project team responsibilities and company SOPS
*To train and mentor CRAs in company procedures, study management and monitoring procedures
*To work with in house and third party providers to ensure that development objectives are met according to company standards.
*To support and input into company processes and procedures
*To work in collaboration with UK and international colleagues in the overall development of company compounds and methods
*To liaise with company co-development partners and conduct due diligence on potential co-development entities as required
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 6 years experience within Clinical Research - please note : The actual number of years experience is not the key factor, this terminology is used to describe an expected level of Clinical Research experience that candidates would be required to demonstrate.
*Proven experience of co-ordination and management of international clinical studies.
*Experience of working within two or more countries in the EU or elsewhere is preferred
*At least 2 or more years experience of clinical project scheduling and budget management is preferred
*Experience of all phases of clinical trials is preferred
*Experience of managing or mentoring professional staff
*Experience working with or within CRO is preferable
*Experience of tracking systems such as MS project or Excel is an advantage
EDUCATION
life science degree
Other appropriate professional qualification such as nursing
A higher Qualification is preferred but not essential
