Global leader in pharmaceutical development requires a medically qualified, GMC registered candidate to join their UK Medical Department in Hertfordshire as Senior Medical Advisor in RA. This role offers an excellent opportunity to be at the forefront of exciting developments with a company that is known as a leading supplier of medicines for cancer and transplantation as well as being market leader in virology and global diagnostics.
JOB ROLE: The Senior Medical Advisor will join the company's growing Medical Affairs team, working closely with the Rheumatology and Bone Disease Business Units.
He she will be primarily responsible for:
•Marketed and/or late phase Phase III rheumatology, bone and autoimmune products.
•Developing Clinical Trial Plans.
•Interpreting clinical data.
•The implementation and further development of the life cycle plan for the UK marketed products.
•Creating plans for products still in development.
•Providing other medical support to maximise the company's potential.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
•Medically qualified and GMC Registered.
•Relevant clinical experience in rheumatology, autoimmune disease or osteoporosis gained in either a modern clinical health service or the pharmaceutical industry, or both.
