Global leader in pharmaceutical development requires a medically qualified, GMC registered candidate to join their UK Medical Department in Hertfordshire as Senior Medical Manager in Virology. This role offers an excellent opportunity to be at the forefront of exciting developments with a company that is known as a leading supplier of medicines for cancer and transplantation as well as being market leader in virology and global diagnostics.
JOB ROLE: The Senior Medical Manager in Virology will join the company's growing Medical Affairs team, working in a multi-disciplinary team in the UK and closely with the other Business Units, interpreting data and providing other medical support to maximise the company's potential.
He she will be primarily responsible for:
•Marketed and/or late phase Phase III Virology products.
•Leadership of the clinical research programme, and development of the life cycle plan for the UK.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
•Medically qualified and GMC Registered.
•Relevant clinical experience in Transplantation / Virology gained in either a modern clinical health service or the pharmaceutical industry, or both.
