Job Background
The RS (Resourcing Solutions) department of Chiltern acts in a similar way to that of a staffing solutions provider. The department is currently seeking a Senior Health Economics & Outcomes Research Advisor to work for our client, a global, broad-based health care company at their offices in Maidenhead. This is a permanent headcount position.
Job Primary Functions
• To strategically plan and execute HEOR programmes covering selected areas pre and post launch
• To design and implement HEOR studies relevant to the company’s areas of interest in collaboration with Clinical Research, specialist academic departments and private health economics research companies
• To provide advice to UK clinical teams with regard to health economic programmes and to support the marketing requirements of the commercial divisions

Job Qualifications
• Advanced Health Economics degree or related discipline, IT skills particularly Word, Excel and statistical software (SPSS, SAS etc), Full driving licence
• Experience of industry-based/academic health economics research
• Excellent written (particularly technical writing) skills
• Excellent knowledge of the drug development process
• Excellent understanding of the business needs of the healthcare market place/commercial objectives of the company
• Excellent understanding of the NHS/NICE/SMC/AWMSG and other stakeholders for national/local level market access
• Excellent understanding of the practical application of health economics and outcomes research to drug development and post-marketing phases
