Job Background
The RS (Resourcing Solutions) department of Chiltern International acts in a similar way to that of a staffing solutions provider. The department is currently seeking 2 European Clinical Project Managers, one to work with Oncology and the other Diabetes. Candidates will ideally be based at the client’s offices in Surrey (near Ascot) but they do also have offices in France, Spain, Germany, Belgium and Poland where candidates could be based. My client is a major Pharmaceutical Company.
Job Primary Functions
Purpose
• Drive the successful implementation of regional clinical activities to meet or exceed timelines and deliver quality data through study/project coordination.
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining optimal regional effectiveness to meet/exceed project requirements.
Core tasks
• Contribute to the effective design and implementation of Clinical Strategy and Study Protocols
• Manage effective Scientific and Technical Relationships with internal and external clinical research partners (region/affiliates, clinical pharmacology, partners/CROs, key opinion leaders and advisory boards)
• Contribute to the Clinical Business Planning Process
• Provide leadership in on-time, on-target Clinical Trial Implementation
• Ensure Quality Implementation of Clinical Trial Process
• Actively promote shared learning to achieve process improvement
• Effectively manage contracts and budgets for trial and non-trial clinical deliverables
• Develop and effectively manage integrated timelines for trial and non-trial clinical deliverables

Job Qualifications
• Candidates must have experience as a project manager, either European or International
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills and team building skills.
• Excellent self-management and organizational skills.
• Able to develop credibility in a network spanning across functions and affiliates.
• Knowledge of project management tools and processes.
• Demonstrated ability to get results without direct control
• Degree, preferably in a project management, business, health-related, or scientific field or equivalent experience.
• Clinical trial operations or clinical development experience required.
You must be eligible to work in the UK.
