Analytical Chemist - Switzerland, near Lucerne - Permanent
Clintec Zug are currently looking to hire an Analytical Chemist to join our growing team in Switzerland. The opportunity is permanent and is directly insourced to our top 5 pharma client, working from their state of the art biotech facility near Lucerne.
The Analytical Chemists is responsible for the testing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API's), Intermediates and Raw Materials in accordance with approved procedures. In addition, this includes testing and validation of the APIs, development of API’s, validation and transfer of analytical methods for use in the testing laboratories. Responsible for the use of the CGMP environment in the laboratory. Development, review and implementation of procedures in accordance with company policies, standards and regulatory requirements. Position will receive direction and support.
Independent management of all administrative and analytical activities for
Multimedia dissolution projects to support Source of Supply Changes
The release of finished products for clinical trials
Development and validation of methods for the release and stability of finished products (polymer-based)
Implementation of method transfers for the release and stability of finished products (on a polymer basis)
Analytical techniques: especially HPLC / UPLC, dissolution, automated equipment
Documentation of results in German and English
Execution and verification of calibrations and maintenance work on analytical devices, possibly support of device qualification
Collaboration with (project) managers, technicians and external service providers
Processing of deviations
Creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Bachelor's degree (Chemistry or equivalent) or completed training as a laboratory worker with several years of professional experience
Experience with chromatographic analytical methods (HPLC), assay determinations (HPLC), release assays (dissolution / HPLC) and GMP guidelines
Fluent in German language (spoken and written)
Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
Good MS Office user skills as well as high affinity to complex computer systems (eg LIMS)
High quality awareness and a sense of efficient operation
Strong ability to solve complex problems and questions in the team but also independently
Strong willingness to learn and self-employment
Team-oriented and open personality
