Clinical Trials - Oncology – Senior Statistical Programmer – Switzerland
My client is an organisation that is specialised in Oncology clinical trials. They take pride in their investigations for new cancer treatments as well as researching further into current tumour treatments. This is an opportunity to work within a small team of professional biostatisticians and to be the first statistical programmer within the group.
We are looking to target Senior Statistical Programmers within the Life Science field. Ideally, those with an oncology background and have experience working within clinical trials both in academia and the pharmaceutical industry. The position will begin as a 6 month contract – whereby if you fit in well with the organisation and create a good impression, they will offer you a permanent position afterwards.
Your Job Responsibilities will vary, but will include:
- Creating TLFs (Tables, Listings & Figures)
- Updating and creating macros in adverse events
- Assisting from early phase up until late development (phase III)
- Programming in SAS
- Programming in R
- Assisting Biostatisticians
Due to working within a small organisation and a small team, you will have the opportunity to work a diverse range of tasks. This will assist you in further developing your skill set.

- 3+ years of experience in SAS/Statistical Programming (Life Science Industry)
- MSc in a related field
- Strong SAS programming skills
- Ability to Program in R
- Notice Period of under 8 weeks.
