European Project Manager / Clinical Site Manager

We are currently recruiting for a European Project Manager/ Clinical Site Manager to be fully dedicated to our client, a global pharmaceutical company. This position requires an experienced Clinical Research professional who is looking to undertake a great opportunity leading clinical studies and working across the UK, Ireland and the Benelux regions.

This is an excellent opportunity to work at Study Manager level on international studies, and would suit an experienced clinical professional looking for a step to Study Manager level. There is also the opportunity specialise on oncology studies. You will be working in a great team with an excellent environment and with management that encourages independent working and autonomy to achieve results.

In this position, you will be required to work with regional CRAs to identify and select potential sites. For your allocated studies you will manage all study related activities at the site (except monitoring), working with Global Protocol Manager, Regional CRAs, Data Managers and Clinical Trial Associates to achieve recruitment targets and timelines within defined budgets. Activities may include both taking on new projects at start up stage study start-up activities in UK, Belgium, Netherlands and Ireland and managing existing studies in maintenance and close-out. You will serve as the main project contact between Investigator and the client, between client UK and the HQ protocol team, co-ordinating initial and ongoing training of Investigators, site personnel, vendors and others as required.

To be eligible for consideration you should have a proven background within clinical research that ideally includes monitoring in the UK. You should be skilled in completing the UK ethics application form, working with R&Ds to secure R&D approval for studies and ideally experience with budget negotiations and managing stakeholders.

This position is full time and office based, and is offered through permanent employment with inVentiv Health Clinical.
