Here at INC Research / inVentiv Health we are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager role to be based in our Madrid offices. This is a unique opportunity for someone woith excellent leadership qualities and experienced in clinical operations, in a role such as Lead/Senior CRA, to become an Operations Manager.

Your main responsibilities as an Operations Manager will be:

-Manage professional employees who work on clinical trial projects in strategic partners of our business
-Ensures compliance to policies, SOPs, federal and local guideline and GCP´s
-Identify, address and follow up on performance and quality issues
-Track and report department or customer metrics
-Provide business development support
-Provide input into financial forecasts and review invoices for accuracy
- May be asked to complete quality assesment visits for assigned CRA/monitoring staff members
-Participate in the interview process
-Review and approve expense reports and timesheets
-Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation and training
-Supervise, coach and mentor staff
-Oversee development of direct reports by setting goals, conducting performance reviews, evaluating and monitoring training needs, creating development plans, mentoring and coaching

The ideal candidate will need the following experience / skills to be considered:

-Bachelor´s degree in a related field
-Seven to eight years of experience in clinical research, preferably in the similar functional department
-Demonstrated strong leadership and line management abilities
-Extensive knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirement
-Strong time management, technical and organizational skills
-Must demonstrate good computer skills
-Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, both written and spoken, with an ability to inform, influence, convince and persuade
