Bioanalytical Scientist (Biological drug development and manufacturing) – Luzern, Switzerland

Clintec currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Scientist to work in-sourced to our global sponsor at their biological drug development and manufacturing site located in Schachen, Switzerland. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join our growing, global company on a permanent, full time basis.

We are looking for an independent Scientist with a strong technical background and hands-on experience in biochemical analytical methods to join our Biologics Analytical Department located in Lucerne/Schachen, Switzerland.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of research scientists and provide highly regulated technical support for the development of novel biopharmaceuticals. As an active member of our global bioanalytical development team, you will besides work with your counterparts at our US research sites to apply state-of-the-art technology to support biotechnology process development.

Responsibilities:

Transfer of analytical methods and their optimization/troubleshooting: ELISAs and cell-based assays.
Maintenance and monitoring of cell culture and preparation for cell-based assays, e.g. CHO cells, T-Lymphocytes.
Implementation and performance of SPR methods is desirable.
Performance and documentation of analytical tests for release, stability and recertification of biotech products.
Evaluation of analytical data and creating reports for filing with agencies.
Authoring of GMP documents: e.g. Analytical Methods, SOPs, Change Controls.
Responsibility for and documentation of deviations: NOEs, CAPAs, Lab Investigations.
Participation in international projects and active collaboration within the global bioanalytical development team.

Criteria:

Bachelor Degree with several years of experience or Master Degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or another related discipline
Proven hands-on experience with ELISAs and cell-based assays. Fundamental technical understanding is required for trouble shooting
Experience in handling and maintaining mammalian cell culture
Familiar with handling and analysis of antibodies and other proteins
Fluency in English with good oral and written communication skills
Highly structured work style with strong focus on precision and data integrity
Familiar with cGMPs desirable
Strong team player, demonstrating mutual respect
Fluent in English and German languages
Ability to work site based in Schachen
