We have an amazing opportunity as the Head of Cell Culture within a new biopharmaceutical arm of an established global company. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced bioprocess / upstream candidate to join in a senior, high level, influential position.

The company is a very well established company with a great reputation in the industry. They have created a new biopharmaceutical arm of the business which has rapidly grown to a size of 300 people. They have been very successful and are looking to continue to succeed in their specialist field.

Responsibilities
• Manage a diverse team of upstream and downstream specialists
• Supervise the technology transfer of processes to the cell culture plant for internal and external purposes.
• Continuously improve the processes in every aspect compliant with internal and external regulations
• Planning and supervision of process validation
• Representation of company externally with stakesholders and customers

Requirements
• Experience in cell culture. Upstream and Downstream would be ideal
• Line management experience
• FDA experience
• Validation experience
