We have an amazing opportunity as the Upstream Manager within a new biopharmaceutical arm of an established global company. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced bioprocess / upstream candidate to join in a senior, high level, influential position.

The company is a very well established company with a great reputation in the industry. They are rapidly expanding and will continue to do so by opening up new positions such as this one. They have been very successful and are looking to continue to succeed in their specialist field.


Responsibilities
• Manage a diverse team of upstream and downstream specialists
• Supervise the technology transfer of processes to the cell culture plant for internal and external purposes.
• Continuously improve the processes in every aspect compliant with internal and external regulations
• Planning and supervision of process validation
• Representation of company externally with stakesholders and customers

Requirements
• Experience in cell culture. Upstream bioprocessing
• Line management experience
