MSL/Medical Science Liaison London & South East
A renowned global pharmaceutical company is looking for an experienced MSL/Medical Science Liaison to play a vital role in in initiating and sustaining an exchange of scientist information on a peer to peer basis with KOLs and advancing business objectives.
MSL/Medical Science Liaison
Up to 65,000 per annum plus car allowance, bonus, pension and healthcare
The MSL is responsible for becoming a technical expert on their designated products, its related clinical areas and competitors; providing expert support to internal customers and external healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities to include;
Provide scientific and technical leadership to ensure professionalism and credible relationships with key opinion leaders and other stakeholders
Collect investigators' proposals for clinical activities & ensure that these proposals are discussed within the internal medical team
Development/contribution to scientific presentations
Serve as a point of contact within medical affairs team
Advise the Brand Team in the development of scientifically meaningful educational programmes and Symposia
Fully understand and be compliant with company SOPs and the latest ABPI Code of Practice
Ideal MSL applicant;
PhD is preferred - Life sciences, Medical, Pharmacy degree is required
Experience working in a similar field-based role with strong evidence of interactions with leading healthcare professionals
Must have proven experience of presenting complex scientific information to HSPs at varying levels including KOLs
Ability to adapt quickly and comprehensively learn about new therapy areas and environments
Highly knowledgeable of the UK National Healthcare System and the pharmaceutical industry
