Clintec has an exciting for a Site Payments/Investigational Contracts Manager to join our headquarters based in Glasgow, UK. This is a full time and permanent role with the flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week.

Role Description:

The Site Payments/Contracts Manager will provide support to both Clinical Research Associate's and the sponsor in the negotiation of site contracts and assume responsibility for the coordination to ensure smooth negotiation.

The successful candidate will forecast, track, confirm and request payments from sites for works completed while adhering to both Clintec policy and contractual obligations.

Responsibilities:

Contract Management
Prepare Clinical trial agreement for sites as required by sponsors. This can be Clintec or Sponsor provided.
Coordinate between CRA and Sponsor for the review and completion of contracts, with consideration to Sponsor and country specific requirements
Track contract progression and log changes to develop a ‘play-book’ of accepted changes. To then apply to future contacts.
Provide support to CRAs for contract negotiation
Actively seek updates and try to reduce the time taken for contract negotiation
Site Payments
Create trackers for the study for the purpose of tracking payments, forecasting visits and reconciliation at study end
Ensure CRA's have the necessary information to answer site questions on payments
Review invoices received against agreed contracts to confirm correctly valued
Review invoice items against relevant systems such as CTMS, Rave EDC, or monitoring reports to confirm only work completed is paid for
Creation and maintenance of Access database for the listing of all required information for transparency reporting
Provide updates to Project managers on site payments to date, queries, outstanding and overdue invoices

Essential Criteria:

Educated to Bachelor Degree level or equivalent, or equivalent work experience in a similar type/level of role
Previous experience working within the Pharmaceutical or CRO industry
Proven track record of negotiating/preparing Clinical Trial Agreements preferably on an international level
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with sponsors/clients and colleagues at all levels
Willing and able to work within the UK
Willing and able to work office-based in Glasgow Mon-Fri preferably (3 days minimum)
Fluent in English language
