Finance Manager Supply & Logistics

An outstanding opportunity at a global, dynamic and highly respected FTSE 50 Global organisation, with some of the worlds most recognisable brands.
As Finance Manager Supply & Logistics, you will provide key financial support to the Senior Supply Chain management team in order to aid decision making. You will be responsible for financial support and cost measurement for the inbound, warehousing and freight budgets across the full planning horizon, to include reporting and periodic, quarterly, annual and long-term forecasting for UK & Ireland.
Location: East Berkshire
Salary: 50,000 - 60,000, 20% Bonus and Car Allowance
Role Summary:
Sit on the Senior Management team for Supply Chain as key finance representative.
Continuous review of financial performance and key KPIs across inbound, warehousing and freight operations.
Responsible for all supply chain commercial reporting on a periodic basis.
Identifying areas of cost and process inefficiencies across end to end supply chain and driving through the change necessary to ensure that these are eliminated by working with senior management across the business units
Continuous management of level of residual / obsolete stock and level of provision being held.
Responsible for setting target prices and approving residual pricing
Develop a program to ensure phase in / phase out of skus is optimised , drive reduction in write off costs
Driving and supporting continuous efficiency improvement across all the embellishment activities and cost components
Monthly review of all COGs lines to ensure they are reported correctly in both Financial and Management reporting systems. Including adjusting for errors and reconciling the balance sheets.
Annual and Quarterly review of transfer prices, including understanding of cost drivers, challenging factories, advising the business on factory and commodity headwinds and quantifying the financial impact.
Required:
Qualified Accountant with proven post qualified experience
Strong proven track record of working within a logistics / supply chain function and a deep knowledge of supply chain accounting
High level of commercial aptitude
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with non-financial functions at all management levels
Ambitious and keen to take on responsibility in an organisation with a high level of autonomy
